Anne Frank once wrote, “I can shake off everything as I write, my sorrows disappear, my courage is reborn.” Anne never had the opportunity to hold her first book in her hand, nor her second. She had no idea how much her writing would shake the world to its senses.
A writing career is someone sharing their art. A speaking engagement is just like that, only with sharing words via a message. A message that can inspire, uplift, or encourage. Elizabeth seeks to do just that in a short, fun, entertaining way each time she shares a bit of her life as a writer.
She shares how to fill her manuscripts with the breathings of her heart, following in the footsteps of many other writers gone before her. From reading 100 books in first grade, to the joy of sharing her novels with her friendly and entertaining thoughts on life and what spurs her to keep writing long after “the end.”
Elizabeth is available to speak at women’s events by emailing her at firstname.lastname@example.org. Her speaking schedule will fill up soon, so don’t hesitate long to book her for your upcoming women’s book club meeting, spring/fall ladies tea, library party or a gathering with your friends.
Elizabeth Wehman was a guest speaker at our library on two occasions after the release of her books. She is an entertaining speaker with a lighthearted program was was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. We will be inviting her back after her next book is released.
